AVP – Business development

Job Description:

We are looking for an ambitious and results-oriented professional to join our team as the Assistant Vice President of Business Development. As an AVP, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our business through strategic planning, client acquisition, and relationship management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to lead a high-performing team.

Location: Pune (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand our client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of business development initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and present business proposals, pitch materials, and presentations to potential clients.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities and performance metrics.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within business development.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and client needs.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to drive results and meet business objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Results-driven with a track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and capitalize on business opportunities.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
